This workshop is suitable for total beginners as well as those with previous experience who would like to hone in their skills.
Learn how to create a human head or bust in clay. Robyn will discuss and demo the proportions of human head, expressions, and various sculpting and finishing techniques that will help you form a realistic sculpture.
Your sculpture will be bisque fired and you will have an option to come and glaze it at the later date if you wish to do so (glazing and glaze firing costs are not included in this workshop).

Robyn Varpins has been working with clay as a sculptural material for over 25 years. The award-winning artist exhibits regularly in WA and nationally and her classes provide students with a full introduction to hand-building and sculpting with clay in a friendly and encouraging environment.
