Handles! You CAN handle this!
In this three session workshop, self-proclaimed Handle-holic Cat Conner will explore the many facets of handle making, and help you start to develop your own handle philosophy. Through demonstrations and hands-on activities, Cat will take you through the aesthetic, functional, and practical considerations that go into making a great handle. She will cover many different methods of making and will help you make and attach handles of your own. In this class you will have the opportunity to make many handled objects of all different shapes and styles.
This course is best for people with some ceramics experience, but is open to both hand- builders and wheel-workers wishing to refine their skills and expand their knowledge.
If you wish to bring some finished handles for show-and-tell or troubleshooting, this is the class to do it!
