Please bring along your apron or protective clothing. Covered shoes are essential.
Transform your wheel-thrown pieces with dynamic surface decoration techniques that go beyond basic shapes. This course is all about experimentation—trying new approaches, learning through hands-on practice, and discovering what resonates with you. Explore techniques such as marbling, faceting, stretching, and slip application, all executed on the wheel or soon after throwing. Learn to manipulate clay surfaces while they're still wet on the wheel and after trimming, creating visual interest through texture, pattern, and color.
This class is perfect for people with some throwing experience who are looking to learn and try new things, and to add new skills to their clay repertoire.

This class is for throwers who can consistently centre, and throw cylinder & bowl shapes.
