Be introduced to the creative possibilities of contemporary slipcasting in this 5 week course.
Design and make your own one-piece mold, then master casting fundamentals and experiment with coloured slip—layering, pouring, sliptrailing, and incorporating combustibles and to make unique objects. Explore different clay bodies including paper-slip and discover how each responds to your ideas. You will also glaze your work, making your pieces fully functional and ready for use.
This course celebrates playful experimentation and creative discovery, whether you're new to slipcasting techniques or ready to explore the exciting possibilities.
