Course Information

Starting date: 3.5.26
Time: 10:00am - 4:00pm
Price:$150
Tutor: Andrea

Class materials and firings included
Please bring along your apron or protective clothing. Covered shoes are essential.
Transform waste clay into beautiful pavers and tiles in this hands-on workshop with Andrea.
Learn to build a rectangular or hexagonal wood & plaster press mould with your own custom patterns, designed specifically for tile and paver making. During the session, you'll create your own mould to take home as well as produce several tiles or pavers using ClayMake’s Paver Mix. Andrea will also demonstrate how to use our dedicated paver mix pug mill so you can prepare your own batches independently.
These moulds work with any standard clay but are specially designed to handle "sink sludge"—the mix of clay scraps and glaze residue that would otherwise go to landfill. By repurposing this waste material, you'll give new life to otherwise unusable studio byproducts.

All tools and materials are provided. Please bring your own lunch.

This workshop is suitable for participants with no clay experience, as well as studio potters and teachers.
