In this four-week course, participants will explore the art of mask-making through the medium of clay, using animal forms as inspiration. Through guided instruction, participants will sculpt their masks solid, then carefully hollow and refine them in preparation for firing. explore anatomy, texture, and character as you sculpt your chosen face.
This course welcomes both beginners and those with some clay experience, and encourages exploration of character, form, and technique.
