​Sophia has been working with clay for 6 years. She has taught both wheel-work and hand-building techniques across multiple ceramic studios both in Perth, W.A. and Darwin, N.T. She strongly believes in the healing powers of clay and loves sharing its therapeutic benefits with others. Sophia runs her own small business under the name of Hound Ceramics, in which she currently creates small-batch, primarily wheel-thrown functional pieces for sale. Her own work is heavily influenced by the natural world around her.
